Our Mission<\/h6>
To facilitate effective collaboration between GARN members in Africa in order to better promote the universal adoption and implementation of governance and cultural systems that recognise, respect and enforce \u2018Rights of Nature\u2019, particularly on the African continent.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]

Our Goals<\/h6>
As the African Hub of GARN, our goals are to:<\/div><\/div>
<\/i>Transform the paradigm of a human-centric approach to one which incorporates respect for Mother Earth and other living beings and entities.<\/span><\/div>
<\/i> Enable organisations, communities and individuals in Africa to collaborate in building and promoting the objectives of the Rights of Nature movement in Africa.<\/span><\/div>
<\/i>Provide African perspectives and voices to the Global Rights of Nature movement.<\/span><\/div>
<\/i>Increase the capacity, knowledge and skills of African people to advocate for the Rights of Nature.<\/span><\/div>
<\/i>Encourage and support African-specific initiatives on the Rights of Nature relevant to the context.<\/span><\/div>
<\/i>Nurture the future and development of Earth Jurisprudence and Rights of Nature in Africa.<\/span><\/div>
